As your relationship with your partner matures and you begin to age, it?s still very important to give some attention to your sex life to keep the passion and romance alive. Whether you are 65 years or older, you can keep the passion and romance alive if you try hard enough. It?s so easy when we get older to just let the relationship get into a routine that does not have much romance or even much time to share together. With the kids gone from the home and other things taking up your time, it may be hard to get that romantic feeling again. But it?s time. You're 65 years old or older and you need that romance and passion in your relationship! Many people over 65 think that they don?t really have the money to plan nights out or have fun, but there are other ways to have fun without spending a dime to spice up the romance in your relationship.
- Dinner for Two: Pick a night that neither you nor you partner have anything planned. Because you?re 65 or older, you might be able to pick a night pretty easily! Make it a night you have nothing going on with your children or grandchildren and make sure it is a night that you won?t have distractions. Plan a special dinner just for the two of you. To have it be a romantic one, make sure it?s a surprise for your partner. Send the hubby off to run an errand or have one of his mates take him golfing for the day. Make his favorite meal and arrange the table with just two candles. Put a table cloth on the table for an added romantic touch. Dim the lights and turn on some nice music. Dress up for him and when he walks in the door he will be amazed and romance will be on his mind!?
- Create Desire:? There are many ways to do this; they can be as simple as spritzing one of your favorite perfumes on a favorite shirt that he may be wearing, or around the house. The scent will be familiar to him as well as remind him of you. It will make him more excited to see you as you are someone that he loves and has cared for over the years. Another way to create desire is to put a little note in his wallet or briefcase. It doesn't have to be long, but something as simple as "Hope you are having a good day- can't wait to see you." It isn't elaborate, but reminds him that you are on his mind; another reason he will be even more excited to see you.?
- Desire:? Desire should transcend the physical of your relationship. As you have grown together, you have discovered a comfort that only comes out of two who are in love. Make it a regular practice to do an activity you love together. Maybe you have recently taken up biking or have a new favorite weekly television show. Making that part of your regular routine will help to increase your desire as it is something that you do will be doing and sharing in together.?
- The Right Time: Pick a good time to tell your partner how much you love them still. Reassure them and talk about the desires you have and your feelings. Don?t push them but ask them for their thoughts and see if things get going from there.?
- Remember, time is finite: No matter what you do or don't, remember that your time here is limited. Enjoy the time that you have been given to spend together. These times don't have to wild or elaborate; some of the best times can be spent cuddling on a couch or sitting outside watching the sunset. It's what you do when you are together that matters; not where you go.?
