Summer may be coming to an end but drinking never goes out of season! For many in Columbus it?s time for tailgating (go Bucks!), but there are many great events happening this September that offer a chance to come together and imbibe, even without football.
Columbus Microbrew Festival is happening Sept. 14-15. Over a dozen Ohio breweries will come together at the North Market for this seventh annual local beer showcase. Admission is free, so you can just pay for tastings, OR for $20 get a tasting glass, ten tasting tickets and a $5 food voucher.
Columbus Independent?s Day takes place at the corner of Gay and Pearl on Sept. 15 as a celebration of all things local, which of course includes some of our many local alcohol producers! Sip spirits from Watershed Distillery or Middlewest Spirits, or opt for a glass from Brothers Drake Meadery, Signature Wines or Camelot Cellars.
The Columbus Food and Wine Affair will take place at Franklin Park Conservatory Sept. 21. Now entering its tenth year, this is one of the most talked about wine events in Central Ohio. Tickets for the grand tasting event start at a steep $130, but some proceeds benefits local charities - plus, you know, wine!
