Nokia S40: over 1.5 billion servedNokia has announced a major mobile milestone: over 1.5 billion (with a b) Series 40 (S40) handsets sold since the first device -- the 7110 -- was introduced in 1999. "We are incredibly proud to reach this milestone," wrote Nokia's Executive VP of Mobile Phones, Mary McDowell. "It is gratifying to consider how Series 40 devices have made mobile technology accessible."
