With the retirement of baby boomers, more manufacturing jobs are opening, but the lack of a skilled workforce is a problem, a new study says. "Today, the skill set in manufacturing is considerably higher than it might have been 10 years ago," says Frantz President John Gvozdjak. "The machines are more complicated.
